Hi. I'm Leah

I’m a Homeopath, certified Bach Flower Therapy Practitioner, and Trauma Informed Coach, but more importantly, I’m a mom and someone who has been on the other side of chronic illness. For years, I watched my own health and the health of those around me decline as we “tried everything” to get to the root cause of our symptoms. I struggled with a number of chronic conditions myself, and my two boys faced behavioral, emotional, and physical challenges of their own.

When we found homeopathy, things began to shift in a way that was both gentle and profound. We started seeing quick improvement in acute illnesses and steady, lasting relief in our chronic issues. Experiencing this in my own body and seeing it in my kids is what moved homeopathy from “interesting” to life changing for our family. It's also what inspired me to pursue a formal education so that I could help others!

I completed a rigorous program at The Academy of Homeopathy Education, including 500 hours of didactic study and 700 hours in a live clinic setting. I’m currently continuing to deepen my understanding and clinical skills through Jeremy Sherr’s Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathic Studies. Homeopathy is my primary modality, and when appropriate, I also integrate Bach Flower Essences, somatic breathwork, and trauma informed coaching to gently support the emotional and embodied effects of stress, anxiety, and past experiences.

I work with people of all ages and walks of life and truly love the honor of walking alongside my clients as they find more ease, balance, and freedom in their lives.

Monte Vista Wellness is nestled in an orange grove on our family ranch. Outside of my work with clients, much of my life is spent in the rhythms of home. I homeschool my boys, work in the garden, travel with my family, and, whenever I can, get lost in a pile of books!

I founded Monte Vista Wellness to create a space where you feel welcomed, understood, and genuinely supported.

About Monte Vista Wellness

Philosophy

My philosophy centers on the belief that your symptoms are meaningful signals, not just problems to silence. I see health as a dynamic balance of physical, mental, and emotional wholeness, and I aim to understand how all of these come together in your life. Rather than chasing individual complaints, I look for the underlying pattern that connects them, so we can work with your body’s own wisdom rather than against it.

Using the principles of homeopathy and the law of similars, I choose remedies that gently stimulate your innate healing capacity, with the goal of deeper, lasting change, not just short-term relief. At the heart of my work is a respectful, collaborative relationship, where you are heard, seen, and supported as a whole person on your healing journey.

approach

My approach is rooted in creating a calm, supportive space where you can share openly and honestly. Our time together is an invitation for you to slow down, feel heard, and speak about your experiences without pressure or judgment. I listen closely - not just to your symptoms, but to the feelings, patterns, and experiences that surround them.

I see our work as a collaborative process, where your insights and lived experience are deeply valued. You are always welcome to show up exactly as you are, at your own pace. From this grounded, compassionate space, we can begin to notice the threads that connect your experiences and gently support your body’s own capacity to move toward balance and well‑being.

goal

My goal is to support you in moving toward lasting health and ease in your daily life. I want you to feel truly heard, respected, and understood, and to know that your experiences matter. Rather than chasing quick fixes, my aim is to work with you over time, gently encouraging your body’s own healing capacity so that symptoms lessen, resilience grows, and you feel more like yourself. Ultimately, my hope is that you feel empowered, informed, and grounded in your own healing journey—equipped with tools, insight, and support that extends well beyond our appointments.
